Role Overview
We are looking for dynamic and detail-oriented professionals to manage and enhance production operations. The role involves overseeing production processes, error prevention, maintaining desired performance output, quality, shopfloor supervision, and ensuring operational excellence across own and partner manufacturing sites.
Location: Jaipur And Haridwar
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Process
- Coordinate daily production process and activities to meet output and efficiency targets
- Plan, organize, and control production resources to align with demand forecasts
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate daily production reports and documentation
- Enforce strict compliance with product specifications and quality control measures
2. Performance Optimization & No Gaps Execution
- Gap Analysis: Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or gaps seen in performance to maintain steady output.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Engineering Department to ensure timely machine maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Operational Flow: Ensure that production details are captured accurately and that the workflow remains fluid from raw material staging to finished goods.
3. Error Prevention & Quality Assurance
- Real-Time Verification: Implement Right First Time (RFT) protocols to ensure operators perform steps correctly, minimizing the risk of batch failures or reworks.
- Data Integrity: Conduct live audits of documentation to ensure all entries in BMRs and logs are contemporaneous, accurate, and complete.
- QA Liaison: Partner with Floor QA Officers to manage deviations immediately as they occur and facilitate immediate compliance checks.
4. Shopfloor Supervision & Personnel Management
- Direct Supervision: Oversee Production Officers, Chemists, and frontline operators in real-time to ensure tasks are executed safely and efficiently.
- Shift Coordination: Manage shift handovers to ensure zero gaps in responsibility and operational continuity between teams.
- Line Clearance: Personally verify and approve line clearances to guarantee that no materials or documentation from previous batches remain on the floor.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience working in a similar role with Personal Care, Cosmetics, Pharma,or similar manufacturing setups.
- B.tech/Master's degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
