About the Company:
Tekni-Plex is a global materials science company delivering innovative packaging and medical solutions that enhance product safety, sustainability, and performance. The Greater Noida facility specializes in Induction Heat Seal (IHS) liners with capabilities in foil lamination, wax lamination, rotogravure printing, slitting, and automated punching, supported by in-house lab testing.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Plastics, or Production Engineering (CIPET or equivalent preferred)
- Postgraduate qualification in Operations Management or Industrial Engineering (advantage)
- 1215 years of experience in plastic processing or flexible packaging industry
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Proven experience in managing printing, wax lamination, solvent lamination, foil lamination, and slitting operations
- Exposure to Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and ISO systems is essential
- Experience in primary packaging for pharmaceutical or FMCG applications preferred
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of raw materials, machine operations, and finishing processes in flexible packaging
- Proficiency in production planning, efficiency tracking, and resource optimization
- Hands-on leadership and ability to mentor cross-functional teams across shifts
- Analytical mindset with data-driven approach to improve KPIs
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/MRP systems
- Strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily production operations ensuring On-Time In Full (OTIF) deliveries
- Develop and execute production plans, shift schedules, and manpower allocation
- Drive operational excellence through Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and Lean initiatives
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications in coordination with QA
- Collaborate with Maintenance to minimize downtime through preventive maintenance
- Monitor production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
- Promote a culture of discipline, safety, and accountability across the shop floor
- Control production costs and achieve plant performance KPIs
