Job Description

What you'll do

As a Production Management Specialist, you'll use your expertise in production management for an area or product to make sure that there's availability for business use in line with the agreed service level expectations or requirements.

You'll be collaborating with and influencing colleagues and stakeholders across the bank and third-party suppliers on the area of specialist knowledge service, ensuring the timely delivery of solutions which support the business.

Day to day, you'll be:

  • Managing in-bound work requests and scheduling workloads based on the agreed business requirements
  • Supporting ongoing development of technology roadmaps and making sure that the recovery plans meet the bank's needs
  • Helping to make sure that resilient applications, infrastructure and recovery plans meet the business recovery requirements
  • Undertaking ongoing evaluation and analysis of current capacity to provide the required performance, liaising with other technology representatives to optimise value to the business
  • Provide out of office hours support to accompany bank critical processes (7/24) and collaborate with the on-call duty staff if required

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with a strong technical understanding, including platform, technology, products and domains. You'll need a good understanding of audit, risk and compliance requirement from production support perspective.

Atleast have 14 years experience in the continuous service improvements processes, proactively identifying potential weaknesses and providing solutions within problem management as well as feeding into post implementation reviews of change management if required

You'll also demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of leading incident groups and manage incidents in an efficient manner amongst other technical areas
  • Problem solving ability and an innovative approach to finding resolutions
  • Knowledge and experience of operational principles
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and influence stakeholders independently and effectively
