1. Production Operations Management
. Plan and execute daily, monthly, and annual production schedules.
. Ensure optimal utilization of plant capacity, manpower, and machinery.

2. Process & Technical Oversight
. Ensure adherence to SOPs, batch manufacturing records, and process control standards.

3. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
. Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
. Implement best practices aligned with guidelines from bodies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and environmental norms recommended by agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency (or relevant local authorities).
. Conduct safety audits, hazard analysis (HAZOP), and risk assessments.
. Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
4. Quality & Compliance
. Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and other regulatory certifications.
. Coordinate with QA/QC teams to meet product specifications.
. Oversee documentation and compliance with environmental and industrial laws.
5. Team Leadership & Development
. Lead, mentor, and manage production managers, shift in-charges, and operators.
. Build high-performance teams through training and skill development.
. Conduct performance evaluations and workforce planning.
6. Cost & Budget Management
. Develop and manage annual production budgets.
. Monitor production costs, including raw materials, utilities, and manpower.
. Implement cost-reduction and waste-minimization initiatives.
7. Maintenance & Engineering Coordination
. Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure preventive and predictive maintenance.
. Minimize plant downtime through efficient maintenance planning.
. Support CAPEX planning and execution of expansion projects.
8. Continuous Improvement & Digitalization
. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM initiatives.
. Leverage automation and process control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA).
. Drive data-based decision-making for operational excellence.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Required Qualifications
. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred).
. 18-22 + years of experience in chemical manufacturing operations.
. Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role in production.
