Job Summary
The Production Executive at HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and high-quality production operations within our manufacturing facilities. This role involves overseeing daily production activities, optimizing processes, and contributing to the achievement of production targets while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
. Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to meet production targets and deadlines.
. Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
. Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, safety regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP, GMP), and environmental guidelines.
. Manage and motivate a team of production operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
. Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations.
. Prepare and analyze production reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings to management.
. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing projects, and root cause analysis of production issues.
. Oversee inventory management of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods within the production area.
. Troubleshoot operational problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
. Ensure optimal utilization of machinery and equipment, and coordinate with maintenance for preventative and corrective actions.
Job Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Production preferred) or a related technical field.
. 2-5 years of experience in a production supervision or executive role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG.
. Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
. Proficiency in using production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments.
. Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, as required by production schedules.
. Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
