Production Engineer - Battery

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire battery production process, including cell assembly, module integration, and pack testing.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)to ensure consistent quality and safety in battery manufacturing.
• Monitor production KPIs such as yield, cycle time, and defect rates, and initiate corrective actions when targets are not met.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to optimize battery architecture for manufacturability and performance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues in real-time to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, especially related to handling lithium-ion cells and hazardous materials.

Skills Required:

• * Experience in battery manufacturing, preferably in EV or energy storage sectors.
• * Knowledge of quality control systems, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• * Familiarity with battery chemistry, thermal management, and electrical testing.
• * Strong analytical and process optimization skills.
• * Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume production environments.
