Job Description

About DROPZ

DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture and our brand must ignite cultural hype.

As a Production Coordinator, you will sit close to the action where an idea becomes a finished product, on time and at DROPZ quality. This is a 0 to 100 environment built on ownership, fast execution, and team-first collaboration, we want builders who care deeply about product, vendors, and getting the drop right.

What Youll Do

Own day-to-day production coordination across sourcing, sampling, and bulk runs by maintaining a clear production tracker, following up with vendors daily, and keeping internal stakeholders aligned on next steps and timelines.

Support vendor sourcing by shortlisting suppliers, collecting quotes, comparing MOQs and lead times, and documenting options so the team can make fast, quality-first decisions without losing speed.

Coordinate sampling cycles end to end by raising sample requests, tracking dispatch and receipts, arranging approvals with design, and ensuring revision notes are captured clearly to reduce rework and shorten iteration loops.

Assist with costing and purchase readiness by organizing BOMs, trims, and fabric details, validating vendor quotes against requirements, and preparing clean documentation for POs and production sign-offs.

Manage vendor communication and negotiation support by confirming specs, pack instructions, and delivery dates in writing, and escalating risks early with practical options to protect the drop schedule.

Drive quality readiness by maintaining QC checklists, coordinating inline or pre-dispatch checks with vendors, and ensuring issues are logged with root causes and corrective actions before goods move to inbound.

Coordinate inbound handoff with ops and warehouse by sharing packing lists, carton details, and ETA updates, and ensuring labeling, tagging, and packaging specs match the drop plan and channel requirements.

Keep production hygiene tight by maintaining a vendor database, sample library logs, and version-controlled spec notes, so anyone can pick up the thread and the team never loses context.

Publish a weekly production status update that is crisp and decision-ready, highlighting what is on track, what is blocked, what needs approvals, and what needs leadership escalation.

Who You Are

You have 12 to 24 months of exposure to product production or sourcing, and you can translate a creative idea into vendor-ready specs, timelines, and follow-ups that move work forward without constant supervision.

You are comfortable speaking with vendors daily and you write clear, complete messages that confirm specs, timelines, and responsibilities, reducing misunderstandings and preventing last-minute surprises.

You are detail-driven with documents and trackers, and you can spot inconsistencies in sizes, colors, trims, or quantities before they become expensive production errors.

You think in timelines and dependencies, and you proactively flag risks early with options, not just problems, so the team can protect the drop date and quality bar.

You learn fast on the floor and in the inbox, and you can absorb feedback from design, ops, and vendors, then apply it in the next sample or production step without defensiveness.

You care about product quality and consistency, and you are willing to do the unglamorous work like checklists, rechecks, and follow-ups to ensure every unit matches what we promised.

You thrive in a startup pace where priorities shift, and you respond with ownership, calm execution, and respectful communication that builds culture instead of creating friction.

You are organized, punctual, and reliable, and you can be trusted with vendor timelines, sensitive costing information, and internal coordination without dropping threads.

What We Offer

A fast learning curve in a 0 to 100 build, where you grow by taking real responsibility, not by waiting for perfect processes to appear.

Close collaboration with design and operations, plus direct vendor exposure, so you develop practical production judgment that compounds across every drop.

A culture-forward team that values intensity with respect, and rewards builders who protect quality, timelines, and the collective mission.
