URVA Consulting is hiring a Production & Maintenance Supervisor on behalf of Agriprod Traders Pvt. Ltd., an Indian-managed agro processing company operating multiple processing units in Ghana.
The role involves supervising factory labour, improving production efficiency, managing machinery maintenance, and ensuring proper planning of spare parts across factory units involved in soya, sesame, and cashew processing.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in factory operations, labour management, and machine maintenance, with the ability to manage multiple units alongside existing factory managers and teams.
This role requires strong leadership capability, ability to manage factory workforce discipline, and ensure smooth execution of daily factory operations.
This role requires full-time relocation to Ghana. Only candidates willing to relocate should apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily factory operations across processing units
- Manage factory labour and workers, ensuring discipline and productivity
- Assign daily tasks and monitor worker performance
- Coordinate with factory managers to achieve production targets
- Monitor machine performance and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Plan and manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and production capacity
- Coordinate maintenance activities and troubleshoot machine breakdowns
- Maintain records related to machine maintenance, spare usage, and production efficiency
- Work closely with factory managers and leadership to enhance operational output
- Ensure adherence to factory safety standards and operational discipline
Candidate Requirements:
- 7–12 years of experience in factory production, maintenance, or plant supervision
- Strong experience in managing factory workers teams
- Hands-on experience in agro processing / food processing / manufacturing
- Proven track record in production efficiency and machine maintenance
- Experience supervising labour teams in factory environments
- Ability to handle responsibilities across multiple factory units
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good problem-solving and operational management capability
- Willingness to relocate and work in Ghana (Africa)
