Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Product Manager to share Content Authority responsibility for the solution.
- Build, prune and maintain the program backlog with input from the Product Manager, EPIC Owner and other stakeholders.
- Create and prioritize user stories
- provide story acceptance criteria
- Accept user stories after ensuring that the story meets acceptance criteria
- Drive iteration content via prioritized stories
- Coordinate content dependencies with other Product Owners Review and re-prioritize backlog for Agile Release Train (ART) ceremony readiness
- Contribute to Vision and Program Backlogs
- Define content and guide the team in preparing for product demos to key business stakeholders
- Work with Product Management and EPIC Owner to help assure strategy and execution alignment
- Assist Product Manager in the identification and resolution of functional business or technical spikes
- Work with Solution Architect to identify and resolve areas requiring upfront design prior to PSI Release Planning Create Sprint/ PSI artifacts such as Release Notes, User Guides, Rally updates, etc.
- Support User Acceptance Testing Participate in Agile Release Train Planning ceremonies, backlog refinement and release planning activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years of experience in playing a Product Owner / Business Analyst role for a Capital Markets solution
- Experience in writing complex select queries using PL/SQL using SQL Developer
- Ability to analyze complex and large amounts of data
- Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of the Sprints/PSI's
- Proven decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong Process orientation
- Strong conceptual grasp of technology with successful history of delivering technical projects
- Strong understanding of SAFE or iterative development processes, quality and testing best practices.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including understanding of technical writing requirements
- Self-starter capable of working independently
