Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Product Owner. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our business objectives and technological solutions, ensuring that our products meet market needs and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate these into detailed User stories and Acceptance criteria for the development team.

Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with the product strategy.

Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog based on business value and customer needs. Write clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria to ensure that the development team has a clear understanding of the requirements and that user stories are ready for implementation. Continuously review and refine the product backlog to reflect changing requirements, feedback, and priorities.

Sprint Planning and Review: Drive the backlog grooming and sprint planning meetings to help the development team understand the requirements and define sprint goals. Review completed work to ensure it meets the acceptance criteria and provide feedback.

Understanding of Product: Develop a deep understanding of the product, its functionality, and its business context to effectively communicate the product vision and requirements to the development team and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement continuous improvement practices within the product development process, ensuring that feedback loops are established and acted upon.

Key Competencies:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Owner/Product Management role.

Experience in agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in using product management and project management tools.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and technical concepts.

Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar certification is preferred.
