As the Product Manager for Coagulation & ESR, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of the instruments and reagents portfolio. You will be responsible for achieving annual revenue objectives, accelerating growth over the previous year, and driving product adoption through strategic marketing, cross-selling initiatives, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue & Portfolio Growth
- Ensure achievement of the annual revenue objective for the Inst & Rgnt (Instruments & Reagents) portfolio, driving significant growth over the previous year.
- Develop and implement impactful commercial schemes for cross-selling, increasing penetration of new SKUs, and accelerating sales of existing products.
- Drive growth strategies for slow-moving products within the portfolio.
2. Product Lifecycle & New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Validate new instruments—Vertex CA, ECL 760, ESL 30v2—and associated reagents for routine and special parameters.
- Perform market analysis to identify portfolio gaps and propose NPIs (New Product Introductions).
- Develop business cases for new products, including ECL 760V2, ESL 30 V2, and new reagents, as well as Coag-EDGE for POCT.
- Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis for Coagulation and ESR products.
3. Commercial & Sales Enablement
- Prepare RR Payback sheets for new and existing customers, ensuring financial compliance and approval.
- Handle GeM & Non-GeM NIT Tender compliance sheet preparation and technical representation.
- Conduct product demonstrations at sites and participate in pre-bid meetings.
- Create a monthly Hall of Fame to recognize top sales performers and manage the monthly leaderboard scorecard.
4. Marketing & Technical Support
- Design and develop new brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Provide telephonic support to the team and customers, including troubleshooting and competitor instrument comparison.
- Organize and conduct Gurukul training and refresher training for the sales team.
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, workshops, and CMEs (Continuing Medical Education) for product promotion.
5. Operations & Performance Management
- Provide monthly forecasts for instruments and reagents to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Focus on increasing the MPA (Maximum Permissible Amount) achievement of RR customers.
- Conduct field visits with the sales team to monitor leads and help close deals for Coagulation & ESR.
- Create optimized protocols for special parameter reagents and shoot educational videos for analyzers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Science, Medical Technology, or similar; MBA in Marketing preferred.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in product management within the IVD (In-Vitro Diagnostics) or Medical Devices industry.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Coagulation and ESR instruments/reagents.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven experience in managing product P&L, tender management (GeM), and sales forecasting.
- Skills: Excellent communication, training, and field-coaching skills. Ability to create technical marketing collateral.
