Overview


CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. For this critical role, we are looking for the candidate to be based in Mumbai. You may choose to work from home in Mumbai however, you will be required to travel to our Andheri East office at least twice a week for business requirements, meetings, or company/team events, or on short notice as needed.

You will join a cross-functional product and growth team responsible for improving activation, engagement, monetization, and retention across Editage's offerings. We value ownership, outcomes, and autonomy. You will be empowered to take end-to-end responsibility for your product area while collaborating closely with engineering, marketing, design, and leadership teams.

Editage, the flagship brand of CACTUS, is a global leader in researcher solutions and science communication. We support millions of researchers worldwide through expert services and AI-powered products that improve how research is written, published, and discovered. We are looking for a Product Manager to drive growth and innovation across Editage's digital platforms and AI-driven solutions. This role will play a key part in shaping how researchers interact with our products, ensuring we deliver meaningful value at every stage of the research journey.


Responsibilities


  • Own and drive the product growth roadmap for Editage.
  • Define and execute product strategies through a mix of big bets and incremental improvements.
  • Analyze user behavior and data to uncover insights on engagement, conversion, retention, and churn.
  • Design, run, and evaluate experimentation programs to optimize funnel metrics.
  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing to unlock opportunities across in-app and lifecycle journeys.
  • Collaborate with product squads to drive feature adoption and go-to-market strategies.
  • Track competitors and stay up to date on AI and EdTech trends.

Qualifications and Prerequisites


  • 2+ years of product management experience driving B2C growth metrics.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, JIRA, analytics, and wireframing tools.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI and workflow automation.
  • Growth mindset with a passion for experimentation and learning.

For this role, there will be 3 rounds of interviews and all interviews will be done virtually using MS Teams.
