Job Description
The Product Manager will serve as the on the ground liaison between U.S. product teams and India engineering for a large scale banking application. In this role, the product manager will streamline cross region communication, drive clarity and prioritization of feature requirements, and extend management coverage across international hours. You will translate business needs into actionable product backlogs, coordinate delivery with India development teams, and ensure outcomes meet quality, control, and compliance standards.
Preferred Skills -
Agile delivery management: Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, run daily stand-ups, release planning; write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Experience with product management tools (Jira), documentation (Confluence), design (Figma)
Technical fluency: Understand APIs, microservices, environments (Dev/SIT/UAT/Prod), CI/CD basics, version control, and performance considerations.
Cross-time-zone coordination: Establish clear handoff routines, overlap windows, and async communication practices to keep work moving across time zones
Clear communication: Concise status updates, risk/issue logs, decision records, and meeting notes; strong written and verbal communications
Cultural competence: Work effectively across cultures and time zones; high empathy, respectful collaboration.
Compliance/security awareness: Understand data privacy, access controls, and release governance relevant to financial products.
