The Product Manager owns the vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital and AI-enabled products serving the Operations function. This role bridges business strategy and technology execution — defining what to build, why to build it, and how it delivers measurable value across the Operations value chain. The Product Manager works closely with Operations stakeholders, Data Scientists, and Engineering teams to ship impactful capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and own the product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for AI and digital products within the Operations domain
Identify and prioritise product opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment
Translate Operations pain points and opportunities into a coherent product strategy
Communicate roadmap and product direction to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Discovery & Backlog Management
Lead product discovery activities including user research, journey mapping, and opportunity assessment
Maintain a well-groomed, prioritised product backlog aligned to business value
Write clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Business Analysts
Make prioritisation decisions based on data, stakeholder input, and strategic objectives
Delivery Collaboration
Act as the primary product authority within Agile delivery teams
Partner with Data Scientists to define AI product requirements, evaluate model outputs, and validate business value
Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture on technical feasibility and trade-offs
Drive sprint reviews, demos, and feedback cycles with Operations stakeholders
Outcomes & Performance
Define and track product KPIs and OKRs to measure adoption, efficiency gains, and business value realisation
Gather and synthesise post-launch feedback to inform iterative improvement
Champion a data-driven and user-centric product culture within the team
Qualifications & Experience
7–12 years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to enterprise operations or supply chain systems
Proven ability to define product strategy, manage roadmaps, and drive end-to-end delivery
Strong experience with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Productboard)
Familiarity with AI/ML product development — understanding of model capabilities, limitations, and operationalisation
Experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, D365) or supply chain management systems is advantageous
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Excellent communication and storytelling skills with ability to influence without authority
