Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile
Product & Project Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of a suite of AI-driven language technology applications. This role is uniqueyou will act as the visionary for product feature sets while simultaneously serving as the operational engine that ensures timely delivery, security compliance, and stakeholder alignment.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of applications including customer's onboarding platforms, tools, and crowdsourcing engines that facilitate large-scale data collection and validation.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management & Strategy
- Requirements Engineering: Draft detailed Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), user stories, and technical workflows for complex systems.
- Product Planning: Define the product roadmap and prioritize features based on user feedback, technical feasibility, and institutional goals.
- Logic & Systems Design: Design sophisticated logic for data validation, such as Golden Dataset creation through crowdsourcing and multi-tier volunteer validation models. Be adept in communicating with the technical team leads for technical discussions around system designs according to customer requirements. Help in contributing towards product innovations
- User Experience (UX): Oversee the design of intuitive portals for diverse user personas, from administrative users to general volunteers.
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Release Management: Own the release calendar for multiple concurrent applications, ensuring that fixes and new features are deployed seamlessly.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between technical development teams and high-level institutional clients.
- Quality & Security: Monitor and address system vulnerabilities (e.g., authentication flows) and ensure that security patches are integrated into the sprint cycle.
- Impact Reporting: Generate status reports and data-driven presentations to communicate product impact and operational progress to leadership.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1012 years of professional experience, with a strong background transitioning from Software Engineering/Analysis into Product/Project Management.
- Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
- Documentation: Expert at creating FRS, PRD, user stories, documents, workflow diagrams, and product presentations, user manuals for product demo and outreach.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with AI/ML data pipelines, language technologies, or large-scale government digital transformation projects is highly preferred.
- Tools: Experience with Jira (or similar project tracking tools), documentation platforms, and presentation software.
Soft Skills
- Adaptability: Ability to pivot between high-level strategic planning and in-the-trenches project troubleshooting.
- Communication: Exceptional written communication for drafting sensitive emails regarding security, project updates, and organizational changes.
- Analytical Thinking: Capacity to design complex data-validation logic and calculate resource requirements for large-scale programs.
