Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly dynamic Business Lead to own and drive end‑to‑end performance across sales channels, collections effectiveness, incentive design, and policy governance. This role will play a critical, high‑impact part in shaping the business trajectory—strategically balancing aggressive growth with disciplined risk management, strengthening portfolio quality, and building scalable, sustainable operating models to enable long‑term expansion

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales Channel Performance

  • Drive productivity, funnel conversion, and growth across multiple sales channels (branch, digital, partnerships, referrals)
  • Identify gaps and implement initiatives to improve disbursals and activation rates
  • Work closely with distribution teams to strengthen channel efficiency

Collections Strategy & Portfolio Health

  • Own collections performance across buckets (early to late stage)
  • Design and implement strategies to reduce delinquency and improve rollbacks
  • Monitor portfolio trends and drive corrective actions

Incentive Design & Governance

  • Create and manage sales & collections incentive structures aligned with business goals
  • Ensure fairness, transparency, and performance linkage
  • Continuously refine incentive models based on productivity and risk outcomes

Policy & Process Management

  • Drive credit and operational policy enhancements aligned with risk appetite
  • Balance customer experience with risk controls
  • Identify process gaps and lead automation/digitization initiatives

Data Analytics & Insights

  • Leverage data to track performance, identify trends, and drive decision-making
  • Build dashboards and actionable MIS for leadership reviews
  • Run experiments/pilots to optimize business outcomes

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Risk, Ops, Product, and Tech teams to drive cross-functional initiatives
  • Act as a bridge between business and enabling functions

Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Mentor and coach senior team members to foster a culture of customer centricity, innovation, compliance, and integrity.
  • Create an environment focused on automation and digital enablement to meet customer needs holistically
  • Attract and retain top-tier talent to support the bank's rapid growth objectives.
  • Prior experience in microfinance, JLG, or rural lending ecosystems preferred
  • Strong expertise in sales, collections, credit, policy with demonstrated success in field enablement, cross‑functional execution, stakeholder governance, and continuous improvement

Educational Qualification

Graduate/Postgraduate

Experience

6+ years of experience in banking or financial services
