Job Description

Role: Associate Director (Sales) – Data, Analytics & AI Solutions (Financial Services) About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing sales leader with deep experience in consultative selling of Data, Analytics, AI, and Credit Risk solutions to Banks, NBFCs, and other Financial Services institutions in India.

This role is central to our growth strategy as we aggressively expand our presence in the Indian financial services market. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of identifying opportunities, building CXO-level relationships, shaping solution-led deals, and closing large, strategic engagements in the Data and Analytics space for Financial Services organizations.

The person should be equally comfortable discussing business pain points with senior business stakeholders and solutioning opportunities with risk, analytics, digital, technology, and transformation teams.

Key Responsibilities Business Development and Revenue Growth
  • Drive new business growth for the company'sData, Analytics, AI, and Credit Risk solutionsacrossBanks, NBFCs, FinTechs, Insurance companies, and other Financial Services firms
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities across target accounts
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to proposal development, commercial negotiation, and closure
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue, booking, and pipeline targets
Consultative Selling
  • Understand client challenges across areas such as:
    • credit risk
    • underwriting
    • collections
    • customer analytics
    • fraud and risk management
    • regulatory reporting
    • data modernization
    • AI-led decisioning
    • analytics-driven business transformation
  • Position the company's solutions in a consultative, problem-solving manner rather than as a standard product pitch
  • Work closely with internal solution teams to shape client-specific propositions and winning approaches
Account Management and Relationship Building
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers including:
    • Chief Risk Officers
    • Chief Data Officers
    • Chief Analytics Officers
    • Chief Digital Officers
    • Business Heads
    • Lending Heads
    • Technology leaders
    • Transformation leaders
  • Build strategic account plans for key clients and target institutions
  • Expand wallet share within existing accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities
Market Coverage and Industry Presence
  • Build a strong understanding of the Indian BFSI ecosystem, including major banks, NBFCs, and emerging players
  • Track market trends, competitive moves, client priorities, and regulatory developments relevant to Data, Analytics, AI, and Risk solutions
  • Represent the company in industry forums, client workshops, leadership meetings, and strategic discussions
Internal Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with delivery, consulting, product, analytics, and leadership teams to create compelling solutions and proposals
  • Provide structured market feedback to internal teams on client demand, competitor positioning, and emerging use cases
  • Support RFPs, RFIs, solution presentations, demos, and commercial structuring

 

Desired Candidate Profile Experience
  • 10–18 years of overall experience, with significant experience in enterprise / consultative sales
  • Strong experience selling Data, Analytics, AI, Digital, Risk, or Decisioning solutionstoBanks, NBFCs, or Financial Services firms
  • Proven track record of selling complex, high-value solutions in the Indian BFSI market
  • Experience selling to both business and technology stakeholders in financial institutions
Functional Understanding

Strong understanding of one or more of the following areas is preferred:

  • Credit Risk
  • Loan Origination / Underwriting
  • Risk Analytics
  • Collections Analytics
  • Fraud Analytics
  • Customer and Portfolio Analytics
  • AI / ML-led solutions
  • Data platforms and modernization
  • Regulatory / MIS / reporting analytics
