Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Development Executive / Manager with strong

expertise in gold bangles and gold jewellery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

end-to-end product development—from market research and design conceptualization to

sample development and production feasibility—ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and

market-relevant jewellery designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Research current market trends, competitor designs, and customer preferences

• Develop innovative and commercially viable design concepts for gold bangles and

related jewellery

• Coordinate with CAD designers to convert concepts into accurate technical drawings

• Manage sample development in coordination with karigars, casting, polishing, and

finishing teams

• Ensure correct gold weight, finishing, quality, and workmanship of samples

• Estimate gold weight, labour cost, wastage, and material requirements

• Evaluate design feasibility for mass production and suggest cost optimization

measures

• Coordinate with CAD, Purchase, and Production teams for smooth workflow and

timely execution

• Ensure all new designs meet company quality standards and finishing benchmarks

• Maintain proper records of design catalogues, costing sheets, and sample details

• Prepare and submit weekly reports on new developments, samples, and upcoming

design trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in gold jewellery product development, preferably

bangles

• Strong understanding of gold weight calculation, costing, wastage, and production

processes

• Experience working closely with CAD, karigars, and production teams

• Good knowledge of market trends and customer demand in gold jewellery

• Strong coordination, planning, and execution skills

• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and finishing
