At G M Engineering Pvt. Ltd., we have been pioneering excellence in industrial valve manufacturing for over 25 years. As we continue to strengthen our leadership in high-performance valves for critical applications, we are looking for a dynamic and visionary Design Head to lead our Design & Development team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of 10 Design Engineers to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Drive new product development and continuous improvement of existing valve designs.
- Ensure strict compliance with API 6D, API 600, API 603, ASME, and other international valve standards.
- Oversee design validation, prototyping, testing, and documentation for critical applications.
- Collaborate closely with production, quality, and sales teams to align design with customer needs.
- Mentor and build technical capabilities within the team, fostering a culture of R&D and innovation.
Requirements- Bachelor's / Master's in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 10–15 years of experience in valve design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth technical knowledge of API 6D, API 600, and API 603 standards is mandatory.
- Strong background in industrial valve design, pressure equipment, and critical applications.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools and design simulation software.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and project management skills.
