About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer with 4-5 years of experience working in a product-based company. The ideal candidate should have strong product thinking, exceptional UI design skills, and a deep curiosity for solving complex user and business problems.
This role is for someone who does not just create beautiful screens, but understands why a product should work a certain way. The designer should be comfortable collaborating closely with Product Managers, engineers, founders, and business teams to design solutions for problems that may not have existing references or obvious answers.
We are especially looking for someone who actively uses AI tools in their design workflow to improve speed, quality, exploration, and turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities
As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for owning design from problem discovery to final execution.
You will:
- Design intuitive, scalable, and visually strong user interfaces for web and mobile products.
- Work closely with Product Managers to understand user problems, product goals, business requirements, and success metrics.
- Translate ambiguous problem statements into clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Create solutions for new product ideas, features, and workflows that may not have existing market references.
- Use AI tools to speed up research, ideation, UI exploration, content generation, prototyping, and design iteration.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth handoff and high-quality implementation.
- Bring creative thinking and curiosity into the design process instead of simply following existing patterns.
- Maintain consistency across the product by contributing to design systems, UI components, and interaction standards.
- Take feedback from stakeholders and users, and convert it into better product experiences.
- Balance user needs, business goals, technical feasibility, and product timelines.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 4+ years of product design experience, preferably in a product-based company.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work, not just visual UI screens.
- Exceptional UI design skills with a strong sense of layout, typography, spacing, color, hierarchy, and visual polish.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, user flows, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience working closely with Product Managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on undefined or first-of-its-kind problems where solutions are not already available in the market.
- Strong product thinking with the ability to question requirements, understand trade-offs, and design for outcomes.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Figma, FigJam, design systems, prototyping tools, and AI-assisted design tools.
- Strong use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Framer AI, Claude, or similar tools to improve productivity and reduce turnaround time.
- Ability to rapidly explore multiple design directions without compromising quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to clearly explain design decisions.
