With its advanced AI and ML-driven platform, BambooBox helps companies deliver untapped marketing intelligence to business teams and increase marketing contribution to revenue. We work with clients like Airtel Business, Darwinbox, Opentext, RootStock, and other global organizations. We are backed by investors such as Peak XV (earlier Sequoia Surge), Emergent Ventures, and Arc180. We are in the process of scaling the organization and are in a high-growth phase.

Summary

Join us in our adventure to make the life of business teams easier while creating value for them. BambooBox is looking for a high-ownership Associate Product Analyst who can bring structure to messy product data, improve instrumentation, and build dashboards that drive adoption and product decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who blends analytics rigor + product thinking (APM-like curiosity) and wants to grow fast in startup mode.

The role

As an Associate Product Analyst, you will work closely with Product and Engineering to define success metrics, streamline event tracking, and turn usage data into insights and actions.

You will report directly to the Director of Product and be responsible for building a strong foundation for product analytics: instrumentation, dashboards, and actionable insights.

Functional requirements

Instrumentation & tracking hygiene (core)

Audit current product tracking, and optimise.

Define and maintain an event taxonomy (naming conventions, required properties, identity rules).

Write clear tracking specifications for engineering:

what event, when it fires, required properties, examples, edge cases

Maintain an Event Dictionary + Metric Definitions as the single source of truth.

Adoption and usage insights (core)

Define key product metrics: activation, adoption, WAU/MAU, retention/cohorts, feature engagement.

Build a Product Usage Dashboard

Identify drop-offs in key workflows and recommend improvements with PM/Design/Eng.

APM-style contributions (secondary, but valuable)

Translate insights into crisp writeups / mini-PRDs / problem statements.

Support product reviews by summarizing what changed, why it matters, what we do next.

Tools / Stack (current + future)

Current: Smartlook, Pendo

Open to adopting: Mixpanel / Amplitude (you may help evaluate and implement)

Strong comfort expected with: Excel/Sheets; basic SQL is highly valuable

What makes you stand out

02 years experience (freshers with strong projects welcome).

Strong structured thinking and ability to define metrics clearly (not vanity metrics).

Strong communication: you can align stakeholders across product/engineering/business.

Ability to translate data into insights and actionable recommendations.

You can tell stories using dashboards + crisp writeups.

Good to have:

SQL proficiency (joins, aggregations, funnel-style analysis).

Hands-on Python basics (optional).

Familiarity with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA, etc.).

Understanding of B2B SaaS product usage patterns and account-based workflows.
