Procurement Specialist

Job Title: Purchase AM/DM (Yarn & Fabric)

Location: Jaipur

Experience Required: 2–3 Years

Industry Preference: Textile / Garments / Export-Import

*Job Summary:*

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase AM/DM with hands-on experience in sourcing yarns and fabrics. The candidate should have a solid understanding of textile materials, vendor management, and import-export procedures to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

*Key Responsibilities:*

Procure yarns and fabrics as per company requirements, ensuring quality and cost efficiency

Procure some general items.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers

Maintain strong relationships with vendors and mills

Handle purchase orders, follow-ups, and ensure timely delivery of materials

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and planning teams

Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications

Manage documentation related to procurement, including invoices, GRNs, and contracts

Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams for import/export shipments

Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and new textile developments

*Required Skills & Qualifications:*

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in purchasing yarns and/or fabrics

Strong knowledge of different types of yarns, fabrics, and textile processes

Understanding of import/export procedures, documentation, and regulations

Good negotiation and vendor management skills

Proficiency in MS Excel, Power point and ERP systems (preferred)

Strong communication and coordination abilities
