Support global procurement operations for a leading industrial technology company — ideal for procurement, purchasing, SAP MM, and supply chain professionals looking to work with international stakeholders and enterprise procurement processes.

We are expanding our procurement operations capability in India and are looking for a Purchase Executive to support global purchasing, supplier coordination, SAP procurement workflows, and supply chain operations.

This role provides an opportunity to work closely with procurement, finance, warehouse, engineering, and operations teams while supporting business-critical purchasing activities for international operations.

What You'll Do

• Convert Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into Purchase Orders (POs) using SAP.
• Manage end-to-end purchase order processing and procurement coordination activities.
• Consolidate procurement requests and validate pricing, documentation, and delivery schedules.
• Release purchase orders to suppliers and ensure timely order acknowledgements.
• Monitor open purchase orders and proactively follow up with suppliers for delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with warehouse, finance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth procurement execution.
• Support material receipt tracking, issue resolution, and procurement documentation.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, indirect procurement, and supplier quotation activities.
• Maintain procurement records and support audit and compliance requirements.
• Generate procurement reports and perform data analysis using Excel and SAP.
• Escalate critical delays, shortages, and supplier issues impacting business operations.

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain operations, or materials coordination.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on SAP procurement experience.
• Strong understanding of PR-to-PO workflows and purchase order lifecycle management.
• Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional business teams.
• Excellent follow-up discipline and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, reporting, and procurement analysis.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

• SAP MM experience.
• Indirect procurement or sourcing exposure.
• Manufacturing, industrial, electronics, supply chain, or logistics industry experience.
• Global procurement operations support experience.
