SCM Procurement Manager India
Location: India, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic procurement for facility management and mid-size construction projects in Siemens-locations in India, Middle East, Asia-Pacific-Japan Region.
- Confidently apply known and new procurement strategies, exploit potential in the area of facility management, optimize the handling of expansion and maintenance projects as well as the FM-related ordering structure and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze supplier proposals, conduct target cost analysis, and evaluate alternatives to optimize project outcomes. Manage and support claim processes.
- Monitor supply markets for risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation measures with project teams. Support benchmarking activities through market analysis and best practice identification.
- Support our commitment to excellent procurement and optimize procurement processes through the use of tools such as SAP and advanced analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, facility management, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in procurement roles.
- Extensive experience in facility management, including building operations, maintenance, vendor coordination, cost optimization, sustainability initiatives, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Be familiar with project management, quantity surveying, project finance, and commercial topics.
- Ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Showing assertiveness.
- Advanced negotiation and evaluation skills, market research skills, strategic thinking, and independent working style.
- Excellent English skills; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Able and willing to travel international if business requires.
- Experience with SAP and digital procurement platforms is highly desirable.
