Responsibilities -
- Procurement of high-capacity mechanical assets (e.g., cranes, compressors, pumps, lifts, bucket elevators)
- Strategic sourcing and annual hiring of 80 cranes (100800 MT capacity) for pan-India project execution
- Expertise in the procurement lifecycle: RFQ, technical evaluation, negotiation,
- PO placement, and delivery follow-up
- Budget alignment and contract structuring
- Compliance in high-value procurement (220 Cr+ portfolio)
- Vendor relationship management
Requirements -
- Deep understanding of heavy mechanical equipment specs
- Technological upgrades and market trends
- Familiarity with OEM landscape and rental market trends
- Vendor base across the mechanical capex domain
- Proficient in SAP, Vendex, and Excel tools
- Procurement tracking, reporting, and audit preparedness
- Awareness of legal clauses in capex contracting
- Safety norms and commercial implications
Qualifications - BE (Electrical or Mechanical engineering)
Experience - 3 to 6 years
