Job Description

Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for end-to-end procurement operations including category management, vendor negotiations, purchase order processing, project procurement coordination, vendor relationship management, billing closure, and compliance documentation. The role requires ensuring timely procurement, cost optimization, quality adherence, and seamless coordination with internal stakeholders and vendors to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Category Management & Cost Negotiation

  • Manage assigned procurement categories and ensure periodic benchmarking of rates
  • Negotiate commercial terms to achieve procurement within approved cost benchmarks
  • Identify opportunities for bulk buying and cost-saving initiatives
  • Develop sourcing strategies for improved vendor competitiveness and efficiency

2. Vendor Relationship & Quality Management

  • Evaluate and shortlist vendors based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
  • Build strong vendor partnerships and regularly assess vendor performance.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers.

3. Process Management & Compliance

  • Ensure procurement policies and procedures are followed.
  • Implement internal controls to maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Optimize procurement processes using ERP systems or procurement software.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Prepare budget reports, spend analysis, and savings initiatives.
  • Work closely with finance and operations to align procurement with business forecasts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ Years experience in procurement function of Interior Design & Build companies
  • Experience in vendor management and commercial negotiations preferred
