We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused individual to lead end-to-end procurement for the noon Minutes business. This role will drive sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization across CAPEX (dark store setup), fulfillment operations, logistics, and ongoing OPEX.
- Define and execute procurement strategy aligned with aggressive dark store expansion and scale-up plans
- Build and lead a high-performing procurement team across categories (CAPEX, OPEX, logistics, services)
- Establish governance, policies, and procurement frameworks to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Lead sourcing and contracting for: Dark store fit-outs (racking, shelving, refrigeration, interiors), MHE (Material Handling Equipment), IT hardware, POS, security systems (CCTV, access control)
- Drive vendor negotiations for store rollout at scale, ensuring cost efficiency and timeline adherence
- Standardize specifications and optimize cost per store setup
- Manage sourcing of warehouse consumables and operational supplies: Packaging materials (bags, boxes, labels, Picking & packing equipment
- Optimize supplier base to ensure consistent supply at lowest total cost
- Drive automation/vendor solutions for fulfillment efficiency
- Lead procurement for: 3PL / delivery partners, Fleet leasing / rider equipment (bikes, uniforms, safety gear)
- Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and performance metrics
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction per order (CPO) and improved service levels
- Oversee procurement of recurring operational expenses: Utilities, maintenance, cleaning, manpower outsourcing, Security services and facility management
- Implement cost controls and benchmarking across markets
- Develop strategic vendor partnerships and long-term agreements
- Drive competitive bidding (RFP/RFQ) processes
- Establish vendor scorecards (cost, quality, delivery, SLA adherence)
- Identify and deliver cost-saving initiatives across all procurement categories
- Track and report savings, cost trends, and procurement KPIs
- Leverage data for demand planning and contract optimization
- Implement procurement tools, ERP integration, and automation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement cycle times
What you'll need:
- 10–15+ years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong exposure to Quick commerce / e-commerce / retail / FMCG
- Strong exposure to CAPEX sourcing (store rollout / infrastructure), logistics and last-mile procurement
- Experience in multi-country operations (GCC / MENA preferred)
- Strong commercial negotiation and vendor management skills
- Deep understanding of procurement categories: CAPEX, OPEX, logistics, fulfillment
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management (Finance, Operations, Supply Chain)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
- MBA or equivalent is a plus
