Job Descriptions & Responsibilities:
- Understanding the BOQ items clearly and efficiently planning for Procurement strategies
- Coordinating with the project stake holders to get the clarity about project requirements.
- Performing the market research for items not covered into the approved make lists.
- Identifying the potential vendors for getting better techno commercial deals.
- Striving integrally for knowledge and information upgrades about markets.
- Keeping a Hawkeye on the product market developments.
- Clearing the purchase related to documentations for issuance to the vendors, and inter departmental records.
- Closing the Purchase and delivery loops on timely manner to avoid lapses.
- Understanding site priorities accordingly planning the deliverables.
- Finding cost effective deals and suppliers
- Team building and coordination with the existing teams.
- Coordination with sites and Project managers for smooth functioning of sites.
- Monitoring supplier's performance.
- Leveraging technology to help in procurement functions.
- Daily meetings to track the status of the projects assigned to him/her and reporting to the management.
- Vendor development, Vendor management.
Desired Candidate:
- BE Electricals or considerable no. of years experience to fulfill the demands of the position.
- Should have proven track record in vendor development, vendor management activity.
- Should have proficiency in procurement planning, budgeting and closing deals for Capital equipments, general items etc.
- Ability to deliver under pressure
- Good negotiation skills
- Should be good in managing and maintaining records.
- Should be conversant & proficient with software handling.
