Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Procurement Engineer to manage sourcing, vendor development, and procurement activities for industrial machinery manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing of mechanical, electrical, and fabricated components for machine manufacturing
- Vendor identification, evaluation, and development
Technical evaluation of quotations and RFQs
-Negotiation of pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms
-Coordination with design, production, and project teams
-Monitoring supplier performance, quality, and lead times
-Cost optimization and value engineering initiatives
-Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial or related field)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience in industrial machinery or manufacturing sector
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and BOM
- Experience in vendor management and industrial sourcing
- Knowledge of ERP systems preferred
- Good communication and negotiation skills
Preferred Profile
- Experience in OEM or heavy machinery industry
- Familiarity with metal fabrication, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and industrial components
- Ability to work in a structured and process-driven environment
