1) Key Responsibilities
Strategic Transition & Service Delivery
- Lead the full lifecycle of transitions from client to steady state for the P2P tower.
- Develop and execute the Master Transition Plan (MTP) and manage resource/hiring plans accordingly.
- Oversee knowledge transfer, training, and technology deployment.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs/KPIs and timely stakeholder reporting.
- Respond accurately and timely to audits and client/internal requests.
Operational Excellence & Transformation
- Act as a functional expert delivering value-added insights using best-in-class tools.
- Champion P2P process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership on performance goals, improvement roadmaps, and innovation.
Change & Risk Management
- Drive change management and lead adoption of transformation initiatives.
- Review and approve process documentation (SOPs, DTPs, process maps).
- Ensure proactive risk identification, escalation, and resolution.
Governance
- Lead regular governance meetings with internal and client stakeholders.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide action plans for any deviations.
People Leadership
- Manage team performance, engagement, and career development.
- Drive hiring, especially of junior talent, and ensure appropriate workforce planning.
- Foster a high-performance, client-centric culture.
2) Required Attributes
ExperienceQualifications
• 15+ years in P2P operations, with leadership experience as Tower Lead / Process Owner. • Strong exposure to the BPO/Shared Services environment. • Deep understanding of end-to-end P2P lifecycle and financial processes. • Proven ability to lead large teams (70–300+). • Demonstrated stakeholder management, governance, and transformation expertise. • Proficiency in MS Office and other P2P tools/applications. • Experience in setting up Shared Services or managing transitions is preferred.
• B.Com / M.Com / BBA / BMS or similar. • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification preferred.
