Job Description

NOVARGI Indian branch, an Indian established company belonging to the International Group NOVARGI, is currently seeking a Process Engineer to join our Indian team based in the Office of Pune.

NOVARGI Indian branch, is mainly focused on Detail Engineering activities for the whole group and Project management activities.

About The Role:

Reporting to the process Manager in HQ, the Process Engineer will be involved in Oil, Gas & Energy projects such as the supply and installation of Fired Heaters, Reformers, Process Skids, Gas Processing Plants, Incineration Packages, and more.

Location: Pune, India

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in the basic and detailed process engineering, ensuring compliance with project schedules.
  • Perform analysis and design of processes, equipment, and/or instrumentation according to facility and client requirements, optimizing designs to facilitate interdisciplinary work.
  • Assist in defining the conceptual and basic engineering of installations and equipment as required by the client.
  • Prepare process engineering documents, including data sheets, specifications, and necessary calculations.
  • Maintain communication with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Control and track process engineering documentation, including customer requirements, project deliverables, and vendor documentation.
  • Support the approval cycle of process engineering documents with clients and vendors.
  • Utilize proprietary ERP systems for efficient documentation management.
  • Assist in preparing process engineering documentation (technical specifications, scope of supply, scope of works) for procurement processes.
  • Evaluate and technically validate supplier offers for project-related purchases such as burners, heat exchangers, lining, rotatory equipment, and other necessary equipment.
  • Ensure effective communication with suppliers regarding technical specifications and supply resolution.
  • Participate in technical evaluations of offers received from vendors.
  • Provide assistance during commissioning and start-up activities at sites.
  • Report to the Process Manager on the progress of process engineering tasks and any deviations from established objectives.
  • Travel internationally when required.

About Your Profile:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, preferably in Chemical, Thermal Processes, or Energy fields.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in companies providing engineering services to the Oil and Gas, Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical Industry.
  • At least two years of site experience related to industrial plants.
  • Proficiency in applicable process engineering software (Aspen, HYSYS) and general software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of ASME, API codes, and other relevant engineering standards.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
