Our unified, scalable platform is transforming the learning experience worldwide with AI/ML-powered intuitive workflows. We are seeing a 40% growth YoY with millions of learners being added to the system. 

With tens of millions of learners, and unpredictable load, the key technology challenge is to design a system that is compliant to ACID properties but elastic in nature. Splitting complex workflows between data lake and business logic layer; and using gen AI to provide our learners with hyper personalised learning that is memorable will be key engineering mission in the coming months.

What you'll do

As a Principal Scientist, you will deliver high-performance web services that are adaptable to varied business needs, influence conceptualization & outstanding problem solving

• Define Lead the technical design, vision, and product roadmap along with implementation strategy for ALM

• Lead and influence customer centricity charter - Increased app scalability, security and stability,

• Develop and evolve engineering and business processes to optimize team efficiency.

• Craft detailed use cases, design, code, test, and deploy stable, scalable, cost-effective, and simple solutions.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and promote best practices evolution. Mentor junior developers to maximize team potential.

• Demonstrate thought leadership through domain and technology presentations, while integrating the latest tech trends into the product.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering.

• Over 15 years of experience in developing & supporting customer-focused, highly scalable, high-performance, highly available, high-concurrency SaaS services, including more than 4 years as a Lead/Chief Architect.

• Proficiency in java programming language, web app frameworks (Spring, Tomcat), AWS cloud & MySQL (or equivalent).

• Excellent problem solving, programming, verbal and written communication skills.

• Passionate about solving interesting problems for customers – ready to explore new grounds in technology and user experience.

• Comfort with ambiguity, adaptability to evolving priorities, and the ability to lead a team while working autonomously. Demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
