Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Patna for a Principal position at the S. T. College of Health Education (Nursing Division). The Principal will oversee the academic, administrative, and operational activities of the nursing college. Key responsibilities include managing faculty and staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, developing and implementing academic programs, and maintaining high standards of education. The Principal will also play a pivotal role in supporting students success, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment, and representing the institution to external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of nursing education, curriculum development, and healthcare best practices
• Strong administrative, organizational, and leadership skills, including experience managing faculty and institutional operations
• Proficient in academic planning, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance in an educational institution
• Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, faculty, and external stakeholders
• Minimum qualification: Master's degree in Nursing (preferably with a PhD or ongoing doctoral studies in a related field)
• At least 10-15 years of teaching and administrative experience in a recognized nursing or healthcare-focused institution
• Familiarity with relevant accreditation processes and healthcare education policies
• Passion for mentoring and fostering the professional growth of students and staff
