Key Accountabilities
- Lead Mechanical Engineer with B.E. or MTech in Mechanical Engineering from UGC approved University/College.
- Lead level experience more than 18+ years, team handling experience of not less than twenty-five engineers & designers. Experience in delivering complete engineering & design cycle of projects at various stages e.g. Concept design , FEED & Detail design in the sector e.g. Oil & Gas/ Power/Waterpower/Dams/Mining/Heavy Industrial. Sound knowledge of Piping design, Static, Rotating equipment design & selection, knowledge of plant layout & buildability, preparation of technical specifications, data sheets, equipment sizing calculations, Vendor evaluation, MR preparation, bid review Vendor print review. Aware of various engineering software in Mechanical engineering. Fluent in English written & verbal communication, good analytical skills. Experience in work share environment will be an added acceptable experience.
Person Specifications
- B.E./B. Tech Mechanical Engineering.
- 15 to 20 years of relevant industrial experience.- Technical specs/datasheets, design calculations,
- Sizing and selection of mechanical items i.e., Tanks, Vessels, Pumps, HE, Valves etc.
- Engineering lists preparation i.e. Line list, Valve list & Equipment list
- Piping design, Layouts
- Knowledge of ASME codes and standards
- Having Piping design knowledge would be added advantage
- Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering using Common Data Environments like Bentley ProjectWise and Autodesk ACC/BIM 360.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D design.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Fully competent in all conventional areas of subject matter or functional area.
- Devise new solutions to problems encountered.
- Good knowledge of other engineering disciplines needs and interfaces.
- Advanced presentation skills and should be good team player.
