The role offers the chance to join the product team driving roadmap and execution of Mastercard's products.
As a Product Development Manager, you will join the Product Development Management team, where you will be responsible for
- Providing designs specifications for and develops new products and services or their components. Defines functional and technical requirements.
- Partnering with Engineering colleagues to create robust roadmaps that include all of the work required for product readiness.
- Performing assigned tasks in the product development life cycle; areas of focus may include features, benefits, pricing, rules, and implementation guidelines
- Providing information to the technology organization to assist in translating product requirements into technical specifications
- Participating in the development of new products and product enhancements
- Embody the Mastercard Way through creating value, growing together and moving fast
- Producing product documentation including user guides, product overviews and training materials
- Working with internal colleagues across functions and job families and leveraging internal resources
All About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
- At least ten plus years of overall experience including 5 years of Product management experience is preferred.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about technology, innovation, payments and digital commerce.
- Ability to understand, interpret and analyze financial information.
- Superior communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate that you have a basic understanding of software engineering and technology (e.g., cloud, database, SQL or analytics tools)
- Operates with minimal supervision and able to make informed, well-reasoned decisions independently
- Experience in presenting and communicating complex/detailed topics.
- Strong ability to multi-task, organize, manage, and implement complex projects whether directly or through supervision
- Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer-oriented
- High attention to detail and a self-starter, who can work independently and adjust to shifting priorities.
