Required Skills & Experience
Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI Expertise
- Proven hands-on experience with Azure Stack HCI deployments, SDN configurations, S2D, and cluster operations.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Arc onboarding and administration.
- Familiarity with Azure Local hardware SKUs, scaling considerations, and lifecycle management using Windows Admin Center.
- Experience managing VMware technologies: ESXi, vCenter, vSAN.
- Knowledge of NSX-T/NSX-V, routing components, micro-segmentation, and distributed firewall rules.
- Understanding of migration patterns between VMware, Azure Local, and Azure Cloud.
VMware & NSX
- Manage and support VMware environments including vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and VM provisioning.
- Operate NSX-V/NSX-T for micro-segmentation, overlay networks, and distributed firewall configurations.
- Contribute to migration planning of compute, network, and storage workloads between VMware and Azure Local platforms.
Operating Systems & Platform Skills
- Expertise with Windows Server roles such as AD, DNS, DHCP, and Failover Clustering.
- Basic Linux administration for hybrid/VMware environments.
- Knowledge of patching frameworks, OS security baselines, and hardening practices.
