Role Summary

The Principal Agentic AI will be the strategic and commercial owner of Axtria's Agentic AI agenda. This role carries end-to-end accountability for building, scaling, and monetizing Agentic AI capabilitiesspanning solution strategy, asset creation, revenue growth, complex delivery oversight, partnerships, and thought leadership.

This individual will incubate and industrialize Agentic AI solutions, platforms, and accelerators, embed them into enterprise workflows, and leverage them across client delivery and internal transformation. Success will be measured not by experimentation, but by revenue, adoption, billability, and differentiated market impact.

This is a hands-on leadership rolepart visionary, part builder, part deal-closer.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Revenue Ownership

• Own Agentic AI revenue growth, with clear annual targets.
• Define and execute the Agentic AI go-to-market strategy, including offerings, pricing, and value propositions.
• Partner with Sales and Account Leaders to drive pipeline creation, deal shaping, and deal closure.
• Ensure Agentic AI solutions move from PoCs to scaled, repeatable, revenue-generating offerings.
• Be accountable for expert billability and utilization across the Agentic AI talent pool.

2. Solution & Asset Leadership

• Architect and own a portfolio of Agentic AI solutions, platforms, accelerators, and reusable assets, including:
• Multi-agent orchestration frameworks
• Autonomous planning and reasoning agents
• Domain-specific agent libraries (e.g., commercial, clinical, operations, data management)
• Tool-using, memory-enabled, workflow-embedded agents
• Ensure solutions are:
• Modular and extensible
• Secure, governed, and enterprise-ready
• Commercially viable and delivery-scalable
• Drive IP creationframeworks, reference architectures, demos, benchmarks, and accelerators.

3. Delivery & Execution Excellence

• Provide hands-on technical and architectural leadership for complex, high-stakes Agentic AI engagements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on Agentic AI strategy and execution.
• Ensure high-quality delivery outcomes across:
• Multi-agent systems design
• Integration with enterprise data, platforms, and workflows
• Responsible AI, governance, and risk management
• Establish best practices, delivery playbooks, and quality benchmarks for Agentic AI programs.

4. Team Building & Capability Development

• Build and scale a high-caliber team of hands-on Agentic AI experts, including:
• Agentic system architects
• Applied ML/LLM engineers
• AI platform and orchestration specialists
• Coach teams to operate at the intersection of business problems, AI reasoning, and system design.
• Create a strong internal Agentic AI community of practice, fostering innovation and continuous learning.

5. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

• Design and operationalize profitable partnerships with:
• LLM providers
• AI infrastructure and orchestration platforms
• Cloud and data ecosystem partners
• Jointly build co-branded solutions, accelerators, and GTM motions.
• Ensure partnerships translate into measurable revenue, differentiation, and speed-to-market.

6. Enterprise Transformation & Internal Adoption

• Leverage Agentic AI assets to transform internal delivery, analytics, and operational workflows.
• Drive adoption of Agentic AI across internal teams to improve productivity, quality, and scalability.
• Position Agentic AI as a core enterprise capability, not a niche innovation lab.

7. Thought Leadership & Market Presence

• Establish Axtria as a credible leader in Agentic AI, not just GenAI experimentation.
• Publish whitepapers, frameworks, and POVs on Agentic AI adoption at scale.
• Represent Axtria in client forums, industry events, executive roundtables, and analyst conversations.
• Influence C-suite conversations around autonomous decisioning and AI-driven enterprises.

Success Metrics

This role will be measured on:

• Agentic AI revenue growth and pipeline
• Billability and utilization of Agentic AI experts
• Number and quality of commercialized assets and accelerators
• Delivery success of complex Agentic AI programs
• Partner-driven revenue and joint solutions
• Market visibility and thought leadership impact

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• 20+ years of experience in AI, Data, Advanced Analytics, or Intelligent Systems with at least 5 years or more in Life Sciences industry.
• Deep hands-on expertise in:
• LLMs and multi-agent architectures
• Autonomous agents, planning, reasoning, and tool use
• AI system design at enterprise scale
• Proven experience owning P&L or revenue targets for AI/technology solutions.
• Track record of building commercial AI assets, not just custom projects.
• Strong client-facing credibility with senior executives (CXO / SVP level).
• Experience leading and scaling high-performance technical teams.

Preferred

• Familiarity with responsible AI, governance, and enterprise risk controls
• Prior experience incubating new AI practices or platforms within a consulting or product organization
• Exposure to cloud-native AI platforms and AI infrastructure economics
