Job Title: Principal Architect

Location: Bengaluru

Years of Experience: 13-16 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Principal Architect with a robust background in pre-sales, technology evaluation, and solution architecture. The ideal candidate will possess over 13 years of IT experience, focusing on defining and implementing scalable, high-performance architectures. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud-native services, Java technologies, and modern architectural patterns, with a particular emphasis on AI/ML relevance to enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead pre-sales activities, including proposal creation and bid management.
  • Engage in technical consulting to provide innovative solutions to customer challenges.
  • Review and enhance design and architecture of ongoing projects, assisting teams in troubleshooting.
  • Define and maintain the technology roadmap for the business unit.
  • Conduct customer visits to present technical capabilities and gather insights on customer pain points.
  • Publish white papers, blogs, and best practices to establish thought leadership in the field.
  • Mentor and groom architects within the team to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Minimum of 13 years of IT experience, with at least 6 years in pre-sales, technology evaluation, and architecture.
  • Proven experience in defining solution architecture with a focus on high availability, performance, scalability, disaster recovery, and security.
  • Strong expertise in J2EE and familiarity with open-source technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Architecture, microservices, orchestration, and deployment practices (CI/CD).
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native services, particularly Architecting an application implementation.
  • Experience with IoT technologies such as NB-Iot, CoAP, or similar protocols.
  • Ability to produce scalable, reusable, robust, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Experience in AI/ML, particularly in how it can be integrated into enterprise architecture and solution design.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to GDPR compliance.
  • Domain expertise in Media & Entertainment, Digital Health, or Hi-Tech industries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture or cloud technologies are a plus.
