Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated
Primary Teacher with a strong specialization in
Mathematics and the ability to teach
Science for Grades 3 to 5 under the
IGCSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should foster conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and a love for learning through engaging and student-centered teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics (major subject) and Science aligned with the IGCSE framework
- Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
- Use innovative teaching strategies, including hands-on activities and technology integration
- Assess, record, and report student progress regularly
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Encourage inquiry-based learning and problem-solving skills
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and parents
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student well-being
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) and specialization in Mathematics / Science
- Experience teaching IGCSE / Cambridge curriculum preferred
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in primary grades
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in using digital tools and smart boards
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
