Roles and Responsibilities:
Warranty and Tripartite Agreement Management
- Review committed margins versus actual margins for all warranty agreements.
- Work closely with the Sales team to ensure adherence to agreement terms, with specific focus on pricing clauses and margin commitments.
- Track sales execution against warranty agreements and identify deviations.
- Prepare and report margin variances, commercial risks, and corrective action plans to management.
Pricing Policy Monitoring & Implementation
- Monitor the implementation of approved pricing policies across Zones, regions, customers, and product lines.
- Identify and analyze pricing deviations, overrides, or non-compliance.
- Support corrective actions in coordination with Sales, product segment manager.
- Provide pricing and margin insights to support decision-making.
Sales Schemes & Sales Incentives Control
- Prepare and maintain Budget vs Actual MIS for sales schemes, incentives, discounts, rebates, and promotional offers.
- Compute, validate, and track sales schemes, incentives, discounts, rebates, and marketing promotions as per approved schemes.
- Control and monitor Provision GLs related to sales incentives, schemes, and marketing expenses to ensure accuracy and adequacy.
- Ensure timely provisioning, true-ups, and reversals in coordination with accounting.
- Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams for:
- Scheme design and approvals
- Commercial terms validation
- End-to-end documentation and audit trail
Capex & Project Profitability Monitoring
- Monitor IBC / tanker initiation costings and related Capex proposals.
- Analyze project economics to ensure expected profitability and return metrics.
- Track revenue generated from IBC/storage tanker installed site and highlight variances.
- Support with financial analysis and decision support for Capex initiatives.
Free Sample & Sales Return Monitoring
- Monitor and analyze free samples issued to customers and track revenue generation arising from such initiatives.
- Evaluate effectiveness and commercial impact of free sample programs.
- Ensure proper accounting of sales returns due to customer complaints, in coordination with:
- Plant Finance
- Logistics
- Quality / Customer Service teams
- Track trends, root causes, and financial impact of sales returns and escalations.
Qualifications:
- CA or CA Inter with minimum 3 years experience.
- Preferably from consulting background.
