About the Role

As a Pre-Sales Consultant at HeadSpin, you will be entrusted with providing exceptional pre-sales technical support to our sales team. In direct collaboration with customers, you will serve as the subject matter expert on application performance management and HeadSpin's capabilities. A core responsibility involves delivering product demonstrations that directly address customer challenges and emphasize HeadSpin's industry-leading APM solutions. We encourage applications from candidates possessing a minimum of two years of experience in a technical sales or solutions engineering capacity, with proficiency in either iOS or Android, and Java or Python.

Key Responsibilities

  • During the sales cycle, you will engage with prospective customers to ascertain their requirements and effectively demonstrate HeadSpin's capability to meet and surpass customer needs.
  • You will collaborate closely with our sales and product teams to identify potential upsell opportunities and renewal risks, and engage with cross-functional teams to ensure successful customer management.
  • This role offers the opportunity to work directly with our Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams, contributing knowledge and experiences to ultimately enhance our business performance and customer success.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction regarding all facets of HeadSpin's products and services.
  • You will lead proof-of-concept (POC) engagements by gaining a thorough understanding of customer objectives and collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of the POC.
  • Maintain and continually expand expertise concerning the technologies supported by HeadSpin.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with either iOS or Android development environments.
  • Proficiency with open-source testing and automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium, XCUiTest, Espresso/UIAutomator, etc.) and a solid understanding of test automation methodologies and principles.
  • A strong grasp of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) tools.
  • Knowledge of fundamental networking components and concepts.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • A genuine passion for technical sales and customer engagement.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated, demonstrating a high emotional intelligence (EQ).
  • Highly receptive to coaching, with a strong commitment to professional development and growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively align technical concepts and features with business requirements.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field is preferred.
  • The flexibility and willingness to undertake travel as required by the role.
