Job Title: BI / Analytics Specialist

Location : Pune/Hyderabad

Experience Level - 8+

Role Summary:

The BI / Analytics Specialist will be responsible for designing executive dashboards and visualization solutions using Power BI. This role involves close collaboration with business users to understand requirements and deliver effective, impactful analytics experiences that support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Experienced in designing executive dashboards and visualization solutions using Power BI.

Work closely with business users to design an effective and impactful user experience; develop a strong understanding of business requirements and partner with business users/business analysts to define technical and process requirements.

Utilize Power BI to design complex and interactive executive dashboards with drill-down capabilities to detailed views and create analysis pathways to other supporting reports.

Skills & Qualifications:

Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling (star/snowflake schemas), performance optimization, and row-level security.

Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, transform, and validate data efficiently.

Solid understanding of data visualization best practices, especially for executive-level reporting.

Experience with data preparation and transformation using Power Query or similar tools.

Proven ability to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and work with minimal supervision.

Strong business acumen with the ability to align dashboards to key business decisions and KPIs.

Excellent communication skills with experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders.

Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau is a plus
