Fusion Plus Solutions is seeking an Expert Power BI Lead to spearhead the development of critical data quality reports and advanced business intelligence solutions. In this autonomous role, you will work independently to ensure data accuracy and integrity, collaborating closely with our data engineering teams to deliver high-impact insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Work independently to design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, with a strong focus on Data Quality reporting.
- Utilize expertise in DAX to create complex measures, calculated columns, and tables for robust data analysis.
- Connect to and reconcile data across various platforms, including Source Systems, Snowflake (CDW), and Power BI, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
- Analyze existing Power BI dashboards, metrics, and KPIs to proactively identify data quality issues and gather new reporting requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Informatica IDMC Developers and Snowflake Data Engineers to understand data flows, resolve data discrepancies, and implement data quality improvements.
- Provide technical leadership and best practices for Power BI development and data visualization.
Qualifications
- Proven extensive experience as a Power BI Developer or Lead, with a track record of independent work and successful project delivery.
Skills Required:
- Expert-level proficiency in Power BI desktop and Power BI Service.
- Mastery of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations and data modeling.
- Strong skills in data analysis and data reconciliation.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data from various sources.
- Experience working with Snowflake as a data warehouse.
- Demonstrated ability to build and implement Data Quality reports and dashboards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud) or other data integration tools.
- Familiarity with other data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Power BI certifications.
