Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
• Define and promote best practices, standards, and guidelines for Power BI development, semantic data modelling, and report design.
• Guide, mentor, and provide technical direction to other Power BI developers within the team.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets/semantic models, gateways, refresh schedules, and deployment processes.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and governance across reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineering and backend teams to ensure effective integration with various data sources.

Required Technical Skills

• Minimum 6 years of overall IT experience, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and BI reporting.
• Strong expertise in Power BI (Web), DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling.
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL, including writing and optimizing queries.
• Experience designing interactive dashboards, analytical reports, and KPI-driven visualizations.
• Good understanding of star schema, dimensional modelling, and data warehousing concepts.

Experience managing Power BI workspaces, datasets/semantic models, scheduled refreshes, and deployment pipelines.
