Power BI Developer

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Workstyle- Work from Office- 5days

Position: Off-roll/Third Party Payroll- Contract renewal next years

Experience: 2–5 years

Job Summary

We are looking for a Power BI Developer who can work with business and HR teams to convert data into meaningful dashboards and reports. The candidate should have good Power BI and SQL skills, strong analytical ability, and an understanding of data visualization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
Collect, clean and transform data from different sources.
Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
Create meaningful visualizations and KPIs for business reporting.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
Build data models and establish relationships between datasets.
Maintain existing dashboards and troubleshoot reporting issues.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of reports.
Automate repetitive reporting activities wherever possible.
Provide insights based on data and trends.

Required Skills

2–5 years of experience in Power BI development.
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop.
Good knowledge of DAX.
Good understanding of Power Query / data transformation.
Strong SQL skills.
Experience in data modelling and dashboard development.
Good knowledge of Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualification

Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or related field.

Good to Have

Experience with Power BI Service and workspace management.
Exposure to data warehousing or cloud databases.
Experience in automating reports and recurring MIS.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into dashboards.

Ideal candidate: Someone who is not just a dashboard developer but can understand the business requirement, work with data, build the right KPIs, and present insights clearly to stakeholders.
