Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage relational databases with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and tuning.
• Develop complex SQL queries for data manipulation, reporting, and analytics.
• Write Python scripts or applications for data processing, ETL workflows, and automation.
• Build APIs or backend services using frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Optimize database and application performance through profiling and tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, frontend developers, and DevOps.
• Perform unit testing, error handling, and ensure data quality across systems.
• Maintain documentation of codebase, database models, and data workflows.

Mandatory Skills:

• PostgreSQL: advanced SQL, performance tuning, functions/procedures (PL/pgSQL)
• SQL: expert-level understanding of joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization
• Python: scripting and development for automation, data manipulation, or backend services
