Title: Platform Engineer II/Payment Postilion Engineer

Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting, maintaining, and administrating payments platforms. Planning, implementing, and managing infrastructure and application changes while preventing customer impacts.
- Performing advanced troubleshooting of customer and internally reported system questions and incidents.
- Documenting processes, procedures and environments and reviewing technical specifications. Preparing Operational records and reports using stored procedures and ad-hoc SQL queries.
- Participating in on-call 24x7 support rotation.
- Managing and performing essential functions required for effective system backup and restore testing.
- Managing and performing periodic recovery testing of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuation plans.
- Supporting UAT and development processes as required.
- Supporting PCI and other ISO compliances within environments. Onboarding, training, and coaching of new or more junior team members.

Experience
- Must have Postilion experience and experience in supporting ATM- or POS-driving platforms or transaction (EFT) processing switches.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Level 2-3 payments technical support & implementation.
- Experience with payments framework maintenance and operations.
- Experience with databases, writing SQL queries and using stored procedures. Experience with the crypto, security and compliance regulations that applies to transaction processing.
Education
- Post-secondary education OR relevant, proven experience.
- IT-related degree OR relevant, proven experience.
- Relevant technical training and/or direct work experience
