We are seeking an experienced Plant Head to oversee the operations of our manufacturing facility in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant management, with a focus on optimizing production processes and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the plant to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
- Manage and lead a team of production staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resources.
- Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for the plant operations.
- Coordinate with other departments such as quality control, supply chain, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 3-10 years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing management.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics to drive operational improvements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
