Job Description
- Manage daily operations of the factory, ensuring smooth workflow and achieving production targets.
- Oversee engineering and manufacturing activities within the food processing domain.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all factory processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor the maintenance of equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Train and develop the factory team to enhance skills and performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on factory performance and improvements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Factory Manager should have:
- A degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field with 5+ years of Plant Leadership experience and overall 15+ years of relevant Plant Operations exposure
- Experience in managing factory operations within the FMCG industry, particularly in the food sector.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing and production management tools.
