Job Description

  • Manage daily operations of the factory, ensuring smooth workflow and achieving production targets.
  • Oversee engineering and manufacturing activities within the food processing domain.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all factory processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor the maintenance of equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Train and develop the factory team to enhance skills and performance.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on factory performance and improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Factory Manager should have:

  • A degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field with 5+ years of Plant Leadership experience and overall 15+ years of relevant Plant Operations exposure
  • Experience in managing factory operations within the FMCG industry, particularly in the food sector.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing and production management tools.
